Registered Dietitian wanted for part-time (20 hour per week) Home Based Primary Care (HBPC) program for the Ft Myers area. Current offices are located at the Port Charlotte VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic, but relocation is expected in the future. The HBPC Dietitian provides Medical Nutrition Therapy services to veterans in their home settings. The HBPC Dietitian will be required to drive approximately within a 30 mile radius of the Ft Myers area. energetic, enthusiastic Registered Dietitian to join our team.
Part-time or full-time position available.
Must be a motivated, flexible, self starter who possesses
excellent communication skills and works well independently with
limited direction and supervision.
Responsibilities may include clinical coverage at
a small community hospital, coverage in long term care or sub-acute
nursing facilities, individual and group counseling in the
outpatient setting, health promotion or work site wellness, and
public speaking. - Licensed, registered
dietitian. - Continuing education
necessary to maintain registration and licensure. - Some limited local travel to sites may be
